How to design small kitchen

Nowadays with the rise of the price on real estate, more and more people are living in smaller spaces.
Small does not mean bad, neither low quality. Small nowadays means - SMART. Smart planning of your dwelling will give you a lot of opportunities and will bring quality of your life to the next level.

Today I would like to share with you how to design small kitchen and get most of it.
All examples are our projects, and all the flats are around 50sq.m. big.
◉
✔️When planning a small kitchen, start by writing a list of things that are a necessity and those items you would like to have. Be mindful about what you really need/use in the kitchen in everyday life and what is a “luxurious” items that you can really live without. Less goods will allow you to have more clean space, more air and less cluttering in the corners.
✔️Layout is the next thing to consider when thinking about how to design a kitchen that's short on space.
When presented with a small kitchen it is essential that the layout is carefully considered to make sure every inch of the kitchen is utilised. The age-old advice to think of the fridge, oven and sink as points on a triangle and ensure the distance between each is not too limited holds true even in small or awkward spaces.
✔️One key element when designing a small kitchen is to maximise storage. Offering greater room inside, tall wall units or towers will draw the eye up to create the illusion of height. This works particularly well in older properties that have high ceilings.
✔️Adding integrated devices to a small design will help make it appear bigger as they are less cumbersome than freestanding models and are often hidden from view.

Our not new but very beloved small flat in the center of great city of Kiev. 46sq.m where we managed to organize big bathroom, two wardrobes, spacious entrance, living room with a kitchen corner, as well as bedroom with a double bad.
